I try to be careful when posting images on this site. All images posted are credited to and remain owned by their respective creators, wherever they can be readily identified, and are used here with permission or under Fair Use. If you believe your images are being used incorrectly or do not want them used on this site, please contact me with your request to remove the image. Please specify the URL in your inquiry. If you want to use any image shown on this site - contact the owner of the picture direct, I will not be an intermediary.

Fair Use:
I believe that images on this site are subject to fair use because:

1. Its use promotes and advertises the work of the creator
2. It links to the copyright owner's content to enable further dialogue and commercial opportunity for the owner
   
3. No free or public domain images have been located for the work
   
4. Images are being used in an informative way and should not detract from the original work
   
5. Images illustrate the text in which it appears beside
   
6. Its use is entirely encyclopaedic or for news purposes
7. Use of images in no way limits or impedes the creators from selling or marketing their work

• Content:
  This is a personal website collated and/or written by me, if anything seems plagiarised it wasn't - I was merely subliminally influenced and enthused by what I saw in other's outstanding work and saw fit to use, write about and share it. All opinions expressed here are my own and not those of anyone else. I am responsible for the content, not anyone else. My employer is not responsible. Any group, organisation, church, agency, book or entity that I may be associated with would not be responsible either. The buck stops here.
• Mistakes and Omissions:
  I doubt it, but there may well be a mistake or two, published before proof-reading got completed cause I was shouted at from downstairs to do some task or other that didn't actually have to be done there and then but other's priorities said it did; so my work got interrupted. If any content seems wrong or stupid to you - seek help. I will do my best to refrain from publishing errors, but I don't make any promises. I am potentially only human and make mistakes just like everyone else - for the record any mistakes belong to me and me alone. Not that I want to claim them but since they're here that makes them mine and I'm kinda lumbered with them.
• Changing my Mind:
  Over time my thoughts and opinions may change. Seriously, for those who know me. Posts are a point-in-time indication of geography, circumstance and law at the time the post is written, those truths may not necessarily pertain forever. Current posts may express different opinions than earlier posts. We do the best we can with what we know at the time, and as we learn more we do better. Correct?
• Copyright:
  I talked about ownership of the pretty pictures at the top of this page cause those are what you came here for, aren't they. As I set out on my journey to "bag" all these hills on film, I have a personal catalogue of only one hill @ 28 Oct 2020. So, I have spent considerable time sourcing the best possible image of each one - I have provided a credit and link to the copyright owner wherever they can be identified; if I have used your content be assured that I love your work and do not pass it off as my own, that wouldn't be cool. Since most everything written in these pages comes from my brain, that belongs to me. If you like a page feel free to link to it - but images are another story, daisy-chaining links could lead to confusion over who owns the photo! If you like one of the photos here, don't download or snapshot them - you must follow the link and proceed from there on your own efforts, if you get collared for inappropriate use you will not be able to claim that I said it was ok - here and now I tell you it is all down to you. As for text, you may use a portion less than 1/2 of a page as long as you link to the original page and give me credit. If you want to use more than 1/2 of a page please contact me to request permission. I'll probably say "Aye, nae bother pal!" Thank you for respecting the intellectual property rights of the relevant owner.

  The information in this website is provided as-is with no warranties, and confers no rights. I will do my best to make sure all the information, including links, are accurate at the time of posting but there's no guarantee that information posted today will still be valid or accurate in the future.
• Incoming Links:
  I can't control who links to me. If you see a questionable site linking to my blog take it up with them, not me. I don't submit my blog to "link farms" or directories so if they find me it was all on their own.
• Personal Offense:
  I promise to try my best not to not knowingly injure, defame, or libel anyone. If content matter, bad grammar, slang or punctuation translates or is interpreted into something bad in your head, country or culture it was certainly not my intent and I will not be held responsible for it. If you're bound and determined to find insult where none was intended feel free to close the page and not return - just scroll on bye.
• Bad Decisions:
  My intention is to do no harm. I am not a professional photographer, journalist, historian, doctor, lawyer, therapist, trainer, chef, or any other type of trained expert (except for project management - I won an award for that) so what I write is not to be taken as fact nor absolute. Use your own brainpower instead of mindlessly making decisions based on what I write. You won't be compensated in any way if you suffer a loss/damage/inconvenience because of something written in this website.
• Making Money:
  This website has been built out of a hobby. Buying the domain (it is a really cool website name, isn't it!), paying for hosting and coffee is all in the name of fun; and getting away from mind-numbing who loves Chelsea baking island street factor on tele! If at some point in future agencies volunteer to donate to my bank account to fund my next lens or camera purchase then I retain the right to succumb to capitalism, but rest assured I will be keeping my integrity and won't affect the rights of any content owner publicised through this site - I will endeavour to ensure that reward goes to where it was earned. I am against paid recommendations disguised as personal opinion, so anything I rave about is because I want to share something amazing with you - not because I was paid to say it. However, I'm willing to consider sponsored posts if the product or service is one I'd really truly use or have used and like. No matter what, I promise that anything I write here is my own honest opinion - whether I'm getting beer tokens for it or not.
• Comments:
  Feel free to disagree with me or tell me I'm nuts - preferably under your breath in a padded room. Please be polite because my feelings are easily hurt. Aye, you hope. Not a chance. Should at some point in future a blog and comments section be added to this website, I reserve the right to delete any comment for any reason whatsoever - like abusive, profane, rude, anonymous comments, and spam. Once a comment passes moderation I won't be held responsible for the contents of blog comments. And I'm not responsible for any laws that may be broken in any country through the content, implication, and intent of blog comments. Don't bother commenting just to spam your site because I will delete your comment. But if you're leaving an honest-to-goodness comment please link to your blog or site, I would love to see it!
